The Buttercup Set

Pokarira is the label from House of Polka — indo-western womenswear for the woman who wants more than a basic suit set or a traditional lehenga. Every piece borrows from both worlds: Indian fabric and silhouette, cut with a western edge, priced to be worn often rather than saved for one big occasion.

It means we start with ethnic construction the drape, the fabric, the sensibility and add details you'd expect from western wear: collars, knots, tailored cuts, relaxed fits. The result isn't a fusion costume; it's clothing you can wear the same way you'd wear anything else in your closet.

We're based in Mohali, and we ship across India.

Refer to our detailed size chart on every product page - it's based on real body measurements, not a generic small/medium/large guess. If you're between sizes, we note on each product whether it runs true to size or slightly relaxed.

We generally avoid vague "free size" fits because they rarely fit anyone precisely. where a piece is genuinely one-size, we'll say so clearly along with its actual measurements.

No problem - as long as it's unused with tags intact, you can exchange it for a different size within our return window. See our Shipping & Returns section below for the exact process.

Where they do, you'll see both pieces listed individually on the product page so you can order a different size for each half if needed.

Fabric composition is listed on every individual product page under "Fabric & Care" we specify exactly what you're buying, since it affects both comfort and how you should wash it.

Yes - all product photography is of the actual garment, not a stock or illustrative image.
